We were so excited to photograph at a new venue for us, Little River Farms in Alpharetta, GA. Amanda looked stunning beside her beautiful girls. And Tim and his guys were some of the most entertaining personalities we’ve ever dealt with. The weather was perfect — the best all year so far — and we were so lucky capture her incredible day. Congratulations Amanda and Tim!
Rachel and Nik were married at one of the most beautiful rustic venues we’ve seen in a long time, Mountain Laurel Farm in Cleveland, GA. Rachel’s family is in the movie-making business, and it’s always added pressure on us to photograph weddings of people who are in the biz! Her dad, a DP (Director of Photography) for movies, convinced her to pick us because of our lighting expertise. We love him for that! And we love Rachel for being one of the most precious brides we’ve had the pleasure to work with in a long time. Rachel and Nik couldn’t be a better looking couple … and Nik’s a Marine, just like Mike Moon! We guess it was meant to be! :)
Gay marriage is still new to Georgia, but Mike Moon Studio is proud to say we were ahead of the curve, with our first LGBT wedding taking place more than a year before the momentous Supreme Court Ruling. We’re so proud to have a gay photographer, Justin, on our team. His unique perspective helps us photograph LGBT weddings in a progressive, intimate manner that respects the emotional importance of these special events. This wedding of Jeffrey and Travis, who were married at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, is a perfect example of Justin’s expertise. (And take a look at those proud moms, they couldn’t be cuter!) Congratulations Jeffrey and Travis!
This was the first time we’ve shot at Deep South Farm in Ellijay, GA. The barn makes for a gorgeous reception and was a perfect place to stand the bride in the doorway for a stunning photo. Ashley looked stunning for her big day and Josh couldn’t wait to see her walk down that aisle!
