Rachel and Nik

Rachel and Nik were married at one of the most beautiful rustic venues we’ve seen in a long time, Mountain Laurel Farm in Cleveland, GA. Rachel’s family is in the movie-making business, and it’s always added pressure on us to photograph weddings of people who are in the biz! Her dad, a DP (Director of Photography) for movies, convinced her to pick us because of our lighting expertise. We love him for that! And we love Rachel for being one of the most precious brides we’ve had the pleasure to work with in a long time. Rachel and Nik couldn’t be a better looking couple … and Nik’s a Marine, just like Mike Moon! We guess it was meant to be! :)

Jeffrey and Travis

Gay marriage is still new to Georgia, but Mike Moon Studio is proud to say we were ahead of the curve, with our first LGBT wedding taking place more than a year before the momentous Supreme Court Ruling. We’re so proud to have a gay photographer, Justin, on our team. His unique perspective helps us photograph LGBT weddings in a progressive, intimate manner that respects the emotional importance of these special events. This wedding of Jeffrey and Travis, who were married at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, is a perfect example of Justin’s expertise. (And take a look at those proud moms, they couldn’t be cuter!) Congratulations Jeffrey and Travis!Mike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon Studio

Ashley and Josh

This was the first time we’ve shot at Deep South Farm in Ellijay, GA. The barn makes for a gorgeous reception and was a perfect place to stand the bride in the doorway for a stunning photo. Ashley looked stunning for her big day and Josh couldn’t wait to see her walk down that aisle!Mike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon StudioMike Moon Studio

Kristina and David Engagement

I was so excited to spend an afternoon with these two at the Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega, GA. It was absolutely beautiful and the late-afternoon weather was incredible. We had a great time enjoying the outdoors on this awesome early-spring day!

Nicole and Mason

It’s been far too long since we’ve shot a wedding at the lovely Tate House. We’re good friends with the staff there and always love to do weddings at their beautiful venue. The day couldn’t have been more fantastic — a perfect wedding. Despite being an MMA fighter, Mason is a softy and cried as Nicole walked down the aisle. We loved spending the day with these two incredible, spiritual people. Thank you so much for including us, Nicole and Mason!
